Also gibt’s demnächst wieder Beiträge von mir.

PS 1. Zwei x Gott, zwei x Papst, „Two Bourbon two Scotch two Beer“ (John Lee Hooker).

PS 2.

Turn on the rain

Don’t stare at the heavens
For guidance or reason or even rhyme
Don’t stare at the heavens
Hoping to find the movement of time
It’s not on my mind
But I know that there’s someone
To turn on the rain.

We walked down through the city
We were happy and it was hot in the shade
And to make it a perfect day
I knew there was someone
To turn on the rain.

Turn on the rain
Come on let it pour
As we huddled in the shade
Turn on the rain.

Turn on the rain
Turn on the rain
Make it loud and make it plain
Oh yeah, please turn on the rain.

I love myself (and i always have)

I love myself and I always have
I love myself and I always have
I had the light and I cut it shade
I had the dark but I made it brave

I look into the mirror and I smile, and I’m running wild

Well, the whispered word is always true
What I could and couldn’t do
What I could and couldn’t achieve
A lap of honour a time to leave

I march to my own beat, with a banner in the street

I love myself and I always have
I love myself and I always have
I hold myself in high regard
Loving yourself shouldn’t be so hard

And I’m running wild
No, I’m not an only child
It’s to the mirror that I smiled
I love myself and I always have

I’m so happy for you

Well she’s up and she’s down in my town
And I see that it’s tough hanging round
Then a change of events
Meant she’s up and went Oh!

I’m so happy for you

Well she is as she is and that’s true
And her eyes and her mood had turned blue
Then a change came about
There was joy and a shout Oh!

I’m so happy for you

It gets me so high to see you by with a smile
And it is perfectly clear we’re both going to be here for awhile

And don’t it make you smile, don’t it make you smile

I’m so happy oh it’s true
I’m so happy for you

It gets me so high to see you walk by with a smile on your face
And it is perfectly clear we’re both going to be here for awhile
And our bags are unpacked, great to be back here in style
And it is perfectly clear we’re both going to be here for awhile, awhile
Yeah it’s true.

Love is where it is

She tells me everything in advance
The secrets in the tress and in the plants
Oh she does, yes she does
I’m walking down the street and I’m flash
A suit and a tie and a pair of black new pants
And leather shoes, they bring my news.

The sun is down and fallen in her eyes
The look she throws me takes me by surprise
A butterfly, flutters by
She tells there’s a place that we must go
We’re leaving in an hour I hope you know
Where to go? I don’t know.

Love Is Where It Is

In her arms is where I come alive
The way she makes me feel I can’t describe
Words have flown, words are gone

La la la la la la la

Love Is Where It Is

And I Knew

And I knew
My future wife, lived another life
And that I’d go
Across the land and across the see
To where she’d be,
Somewhere there, I didn’t know where
And that she’d be
Dressed in red which to me said
Here I am.

Don’t know just why but I knew from the start
We were born to be but then born far apart

And I knew
The girl next door would have to wait for
The other guy
In the other house on the other side
Because I’d be
Gone again, off again
To see
If she was love or alone, at work or at home
Is where she’d be

Turned every door and I saw every face
Knew you were here didn’t know the right place

And I knew.

„Let me imagine you“

There was silence, things we didn’t know
There was romance, where I couldn’t go

Please don’t tell me, let me dream and guess
Please don’t tell me. let me dream and guess

I missed the ballet you directed
Was it a big success?
Let my imagination move those figures around my head.

Are you in Paris, deep in trouble. Yes?
Is the memoir finished, let me dream and guess

I heard you went shopping
And bought such beautiful things
Let me get my calculator and add up the cost of all those things.

Please don’t twitter, let me imagine you
I find it sweeter, let me imagine you
