The five readers have already started reading, and from Feb. 1st onwards, every Sunday will be the day where their comments of a certain number of chapters of William Kent Krueger’s thriller will be published on this site. So, there might be possible readers out there who want to follow the crime club’s observations about this Edgar-winning novel set in the USA anno 1961 –  and adopt the role of silent witnesses . The book is available in a pocket book edition and as e-book as well. On The first day of February the first ten chapters will be reviewed here, from five different perspectives, in a very personal way full of sidesteps, way beyond the mainstream culture of thriller reviews. Thus the reader always is the prime suspect. If you really start reading, look for the right soundtrack – Johnny Cash, Bill Callahan and Aaron Copland might not be a bad choice!
