Wayne Coyne speaks (that guy even made me love bunnies)

von: Michael Engelbrecht Filed under: Blog | TB | 1 Comment

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETI72zGyzZI (if you don´t  fall in love with this incredible song called DO YOU REALIZE, then the Flaming Lips will have nothing to offer to you!)

One, two, three, four –
Do You Realize – that you have the most beautiful face
Do You Realize – we’re floating in space –
Do You Realize – that happiness makes you cry
Do You Realize – that everyone you know someday will die

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes – let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It’s hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun don‘-go down
It’s just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Do You Realize – Oh – Oh – Oh
Do You Realize – that everyone you know
Someday will die –

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes – let them know
You realize that life goes fast
It’s hard to make the good things last
You realize the sun don‘-go down
It’s just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Do You Realize – that you have the most beautiful face
Do You Realize

Not my favourite song of the Flaming Lips (the instrumental section is great), but I like it anyway. I saw them three times on stage, did two interviews with Wayne (there comes the quote from), I really love the band. Manafonistas should at least own one of their records(:)), for example the gorgeous YOSHIMI BATTLES THE PINK ROBOTS. Their last one was awesome, too. And very weird!!!
