– Gosh. Sylt seems to be far more thrilling, in comparison.
– No, no, La Graciosa is a kind of survival training. No divertimentos.

Ja, Zaunkönige haben es in sich. Und so beschäftigen sie unsere Phantasie immer wieder.
Sie haben ein eindrucksvolles klangliches Repertoire, rhythmisch-melodisch.
Wirklich erstaunlich die Variation …
Schlagzeuger Jeff Ballard hat sich zusammen mit Gitarrist Lionel Loueke und Saxophonist Miguel Zenon dran versucht und dann klingt’s mitunter fast wie Pygmäenmusik und ein bisschen wie Monk.
