On the last track, they all pick up the flute,  blowing nirvana, so to speak, on a double-album with four compositions. Time is your friend on all of them. When it is said that American minimalism of the kind of Glass or Reich has some sources in modal jazz, this album of Mr. Abrams is proving exactly that – continuing the path of a nearly forgotten band named „Town & Country“, with a shower of nearly never-ending organic pulsations, and the deceptively simple machinery of illusion. Don Cherry should be a silent, happy witness here.
