Ist das so? Keine Ahnung, wenn es ein Album der Stones gibt, das man evtl. mit auf die sprichwörtliche Insel nehmen sollte, dann dieses hier. Es ist anders als die anderen. Dreckiger, erdiger, hypnotischer, untergründiger.

Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter, ja stimmt ein Doppelalbum. Auf jeden Fall viel besser als Miles of Aisles, das Doppellivealbum von Joni, was mich sehr enttäuscht hat. Aber das einzige wirklich phantastische Stück auf DJRD war m. E. Paprika Plains, eine wilde 16 minütige Jazzsymphonie. Wenn ich recht erinnere, jaulten die Streicher da an ein oder zwei Stellen, aber ansonsten ein phantastischer Track.
