„References were never a topic, but for me personally I have spent so much time listening to the stuff you mentioned, (except AMM, which are not so familiar territory for me.) 70´s Miles Davis, Rypdal and Garbarek, Jon Hassell, Brian Eno, Michael Brooks Hybrid, David Torn, have all been highly influential on me. I think Michele has some of the same references too. I am not sure about Gianluca but he has for sure a stronger jazz background than me, and he is very into music from the 70´s.“ (from my recent email interview with Eivind)

 

 

 

 

 

… these fifty-four minutes and thirty-nine seconds have been brilliantly engineered by Roman Weingardt, we had real fun doing it – I think the hour is full of interesting themes (rare instruments in jazz: tuba and cello etc.) and a broad palette of different (production) styles with the contributions of Karl and Karsten adding some decent magic …
