    Okay, two works are better categorized as „folk music from Mars“…

    And everybody could add a lot of other five-star albums from these areas of „fusion music“. But when it comes push to shove, what do you love most? That’s the question. Not the canonization. Fuck canonizations. Running gag, but the truth. Simple as that.

    Billy Cobham’s „Spectrum„, Jahrgang „Birds of Fire„, könnte man einpacken. Ist vielleicht kein astreines five-star-album aber „Red Baron“ macht schon richtig Spaß.

    Ich ziehe da Jan Hanmer und Timeless noch etwas vor wg. der Power und Originalität. War John Abercrombie nicht auf beiden dabei?
