In the Film „The Center of the Self“ by Adam Curtis the nephew of Sigmund Freud says that you only have to satisfy your subconscious wishes and buy what it wants – so you become a happymachine. Yesterday a collegue brought me this little Peguinbook. I always liked the design of the Penguinbooks. She made me happy.

    Der Neffe von Freud heißt Edward Bernays. Der sehenswerte Film „The Center of the Self“ von Adam Curtis ist im Internet zu sehen. Die kleine Kurzgeschichte „The Lottery“ wurde 1948 zum ersten Mal im New Yorker abgedruckt.
